Whilst I aim to answer any of your questions via Facebook and email as soon as possible, you may find the answer to your question below in a shorter space of time. If you have any questions that aren’t listed below, please feel free to use the contact form on my contact page.

What can I add to my piece?

Most things can be embedded one way or another. Common items are material, flowers, gem stones, metal, pictures, ash, placenta, breastmilk…the list is endless! Please contact me to discuss further.

How fresh does the milk need to be, and can I use frozen milk?

Milk that’s been frozen is fine, and it doesn’t matter how long it has been in the freezer for. Breastmilk that has been kept in the fridge for around a week will be fine but no longer than this. If you suffer with low supply or struggle to express, I would recommend a silicon pump whilst feeding and adding it to a pot in the freezer until you have the 5ml required. Please contact me if you have less than 5ml, I am sure there is always something we can do.

How much milk / hair / ash / cord do I need?

I can comfortably work with the following Milk – 5ml, Ash – 2 tsp, placenta – 1 capsule, umbilical cord – a pea size piece, Hair/fur – a good curl size if possible, or a tuft of fur. Please never send all you have, ‘just in case’.

How can I be certain that it is my item you're using?

Where possible, I take photos and videos during the making phase for you to follow, but please help me by making sure that all items you send are clearly labelled with your details on! I only work on one piece at a time, and clean everything down before working on the next piece to avoid contamination.

What happens to any left over inclusion?

All unused inclusions are kept for a period of 18 months As insurance against process failure or in the event that you would like a further item. If you believe we have your milk/inclusion stored and you wish to make another order, please contact me.

What is the current lead time?

Once we have received your milk / ash / hair etc. Our lead time is currently 6 weeks, some items are available for ‘Rush my order’ for an additional fee should you need them completing within a quick time scale or for a specific date.

Can I order for a set date?

This is dependant on the item, Once we have received your milk / ash / hair etc. Our lead time is currently 4 – 6 weeks, some items are available for ‘Rush my order’ for an additional fee should you need them completing within a quick time scale or for a specific date.

Can I order a gift vouchers?

Yes! We can provide emailed vouchers or a physical voucher along with an inclusion pack. Gift vouchers are non-refundable and expire 12 months from the date of issue.

How do I check the progress of my order?

Please click on the ‘order progress’ tab to check. You will need your email address and password. We will also send you updates along the way including order confirmation,  inclusion pack received and order dispatch.

Can I leave a message with an order?

If you wish to leave us a message with your order you can do so in the comment box at checkout. We will try our best to include notes sent to us after the order is placed however these are not guaranteed. Once you receive your inclusion pack there will also be a space on the card included for any notes you wish to add.

Do I need to send my items by recorded delivery?

No, a Royal Mail large letter is best, and please again do not send all you have!

Do you ship internationally?

We work with customers all over the world and are happy to ship internationally. We would advise you to check your local delivery options for getting your inclusions to us and how much that is likely to cost you before placing an order. Delivery is charged in accordance with the size and destination address of the order as per the delivery cost at the time of order. All overseas orders are dispatched using DPD. All pieces are fully insured during transit time and are subject to all duties and taxes imposed by the destination country.

Can I cancel an order?

We get started on your order pretty quickly after it is placed to cut down on the amount of time you are waiting to receive your keepsake. If you need to cancel an order please get in touch as soon as possible and we will do our best to get that arranged. If we have already received your inclusions it is likely we have already started and your order will not be able to be cancelled.

I have made a mistake, What can I do?

Contact me ASAP! Depending on what stage I am up to, I will try to accommodate changes. If a piece needs to be remade due to buyer error there will be a £25 additional charge.

What if I'm not happy with my purchase?

Hopefully this won’t ever happen! But if, for any reason not happy with your item please contact me and we can discuss further options.

My ring doesn’t fit, what should I do?

We are more than happy to get the ring resized if we are able to do so. Please send us a message with instructions for the resize and we will get back to you with a quote. Please be aware not every ring can be resized, and sometimes a new setting will need to be ordered.

There is a spelling or other error on my item, what can be done to fix this?

We work really hard and take extra care to insure this never happens but we are only human, and unfortunately mistakes do happen. Please take a photo and send us a message on Facebook as soon as you notice the error and we will get it replaced ASAP!

The black finish on my stamped piece has worn off, can it be re-applied?

The black finish is part of the stamping process which leaves a black fill which will wear away overtime. If the black finish has worn away within the first two months of owning your ring we will reapply it for you. If it is past two months we can reapply the black finish for you for a £10 fee. The black finish is also something you can reapply at home yourself if you choose. Please message to get this arranged.

Will my item change colour?

The resin we use is a polymer Resin and should be light stable, however you may notice that if you wear your item daily there may be a slight colour change. This is a natural process and should only be a subtle difference and does not make your item faulty.

If you have a sudden change of colour in the first 6 months, please contact us.

There are certain precautions that you can make to keep your piece looking its best. Dry jewellery is happy jewellery. Ideally all jewellery should be removed for showering, sleeping, cooking, going to the gym. We suggest giving it a gentle clean regularly with a soft toothbrush and washing up liquid to clean behind the little stones. You can also use a jewellery cleaning cloth to remove any superficial scuffs on the metal but please don’t use this on the milk stone. To keep the stone looking it’s best again try to limit exposure to chemicals, knocks bangs etc but also try to avoid lots of uv exposure so nail lamps and holidays if you can try to remember to remove your ring as this can
affect the resin.

What does bespoke mean?

Bespoke means personalised and made for the customer so in a way, all of our products are bespoke and completely customisable. If you want to take it one step further we are also able to alter settings or design a completely new piece. Depending on how much design work is needed there could be a small fee. How do I order a bespoke piece?

The first place to start is to go explore our collection and select some of your favourite pieces. What do you like about the pieces and what are you not so keen on? Note any changes, additions or special details you would like to include in your piece. Then please send us a Facebook message with your ideas. We aim to respond within a few days to your original message with a quote or if we have any further questions. The more detail you provide us the quicker the process! Response times depend on how busy we are and how intricate your design is.

I have had another baby! How can I incorporate him/her into my current piece?

First, Congratulations!! There are a few options you have. We can remake the milkstone in your current ring to include the new inclusion (milk, hair, birthstone, cord etc). You will keep the same setting and a new milkstone will be set into it. We will also send back your original stone, loose, if you wish. Or you can order a new setting to stack along with your original keepsake. Please message us on Facebook for options.

Do your charms fit Pandora bracelets?

Yes, I offer 3 sizes of beads all with a 5mm hole. All are made with a sterling silver bead core.
